Israel To Conduct Joint Space Research With 4 Nations

Director-General Har-Even of the Israeli Space Agency stated that Israel will partner in space research with India, France, Ukraine and Holland. Among the joint ventures being discussed is a joint satellite mission between Israel and India, to be launched in the next two years. Meanwhile, Ilan Ramon will become the first Israeli astronaut to be sent into space on January 16th, if all goes as planned.

イスラエル宇宙開発委員会のハル−エヴェン事務局長は、イスラエルがインド、フランス、ウクライナ及びオランダと共同で宇宙開発を進めることを発表した。協力事業の中には、向こう2年間の内に発射予定である、インドとの共同衛星打ち上げプロジェクト等がある。また、全てが予定通りに進んだ場合、イスラエル人のイラン・ラモン氏が1月16日に、初のイスラエル人宇宙飛行士となる。
